The world might not be designed for our dogs, but your day care can be.
​Our goal of Day School is to support dogs and their people on their journey training through life!

​Core canine focused components of day school:
1. Skill-Building Through Enrichment

Interactive Learning Activities: Dogs engage in mentally stimulating games that reinforce problem-solving, teach practical skills, impulse control, and focus.

Play with Purpose: Play sessions are with intent to not only have fun but build a healthy relationship with play/toys, build toy drive and strong healthy bonds. Play is a pillar of our training program and learning philosophies!

Custom Training Plans: Tailored exercises ensure that each dog progresses at their own pace, addressing their unique needs and challenges
2. Socialization and Behavior Training

Group Interaction Skills: Dogs learn how to play politely, respect boundaries, and navigate small group dynamics with confidence (if applicable for the dog)

Structure and Proactivity: We have strong structure and take proactive measures to ensure we are setting all dogs up for success to respect boundaries and learn.

Addressing Problem Behaviors: Specialized attention helps dogs overcome challenges like excessive barking, jumping, or reactivity.

Training Support: This program supports and helps you reach all your training goals. Our curriculum depends on each dogs specific training plan and family needs.
3. Comprehensive Well-Being Support

Confidence Building: Training focuses on reducing fear and anxiety, helping dogs feel secure in new environments or situations.

Physical and Emotional Balance: The day combines physical activity, mental challenges, and relaxation to support holistic health.

My dog does well at daycare, why change?
Some dogs do great with traditional day care, we are not here to tell you to change anything that's working! We know training your dog and living a busy human life is hard, day school was created to support our trainees with their goals and provide an alternative to traditional day care! Day School is great in combination with traditional daycare.
Results You Can See
By the end of each day, dogs will go home happy, biologically fulfilled but also more confident, well-behaved, and better equipped to navigate the world around them. Pet parents will know what their dog did all day, how they did and feedback on what to work on. This training program ensures that every day is a step forward in their development and well-being.

Black Daimond Adventure Club
Adventure Days are all about your dog — what they love, what they need, and how they move through the world. Whether it’s hiking, exploring, structured play, or practicing real-life skills out and about, the day is built to be both biologically fulfilling and enriching while naturally reinforcing good habits. They are 1.5 -2 hours; the length of time will depend on your dog's energy level on the adventure
Your dog’s guide may be myself or another member of our team depending on the schedule and the needs of your dog.
We always make sure you (and your dog!) feel comfortable with everyone on our team beforehand. Expanding our adventure days with new guides allows us to keep this program going while I am able to keep the focus on training.
Please keep in mind adventure days are to SUPPORT your training plan, they are not in place of it. This is not a training session; this is an experience for your dog to be a dog while maintaining structure and boundaries.

our adventure days are in conjunction to continued training at home

we are doing at least one mini lesson ever 2 months. If you have completed a full program, you are exempt from this rule.
